Fiona Fitzpatrick and I met with a prominent, leading, and progressive businessman in the fuel retailing space this morning. We discussed a very exciting and promising, new retail development that he’s contracted our consulting services for. What. An. Amazing. Meeting! Apart from the deal’s commercials, we had to reflect on how and with whom we do business… In a sea of clients, you come across every type.

It’s tough out there. But, finding and doing business with clients who exude the values, morals and principles that match or exceed your own, is where your business trade truly takes lift off.

It’s in the heart, the empathy, the connectivity with his staff and to us as partners in his endeavours. When you find this client, treat them like gold. Make them feel as much as they made you feel, if not more. Cementing partnerships for life, with the heart first and foremost.
